Artist Bio

Born in Washington, DC. Grew up on Cobb Island, Md. Graduated from La Plata High school. 4 years in the Air Force, where I started developing my artistic talents as an illustrator and designer. What a lucky break. Contin­ued to work in the commercial art field after leaving the Air Force and worked my way up the proverbial ladder. Production, designer, art director then creative director with lots of advertising agencies. Flying to press checks all over the U.S. Yes I got some schooling. No degree but lots of art credits! Who needs math when you have a calculator? Writing, I just scribble from my heart. But I can read, so I guess it all has all worked out. Commer­cial art is where the money is. But my heart kept drawing me back to express my love and romance for images others take for granted. It’s all about heart. I have a loving and supportive wife who has encourage me for 34 years to do fine art again. The romance has returned to a lost love and I thank God for the gifts He has given me to share and express to others. Stir our hearts O God!
