Artist Bio 
Betty Carney was a teacher in the Maryland school system for 20 years, and a volunteer teacher at the Clark Senior Center for 9 years. Betty is a native of Charles County who holds a Master Degree Equivalent from the University of Maryland, and has earned her advanced teaching certification from the State of Maryland. Betty has taken many classes from local and well-known artists. She enjoys watercolor, silk-painting, acrylics, and learning from other artists. Betty is also the owner of The Corner Studio, where she generously hosts the CCAA-sponsored Regional Artist Workshops, among her other artistic activities. Artist's Work
